Hi again! Thank you for checking out my website and wanting to learn more about who I am. Ready? Here we go..…I am a bilingual certified sexuality educator with over 13 years experience in the sexuality field and a HUGE passion for educating people on ALL topics related to Sex(uality).
My career started as a Women’s Sexual Health Educator and for 12 years, provided Workshops that were Educational, Empowering, Sex-Positive for women age 18+. I wanted to expand my knowledge in the field and started a position with Planned Parenthood of Illinois as a Sex Educator, Community Outreach & Program Management.
I was raised in a traditional & strict Mexican household, where “Sex” was Taboo & not talked about. I first learned about it in High School which is nothing like Today’s Sex Education. Having experienced motherhood as a teen mom, I understand the need for better communication between parents/caregivers and youth. One of the many reasons I created “My Cuerpo Mi Body” .
When I am not working, I’m spending time with my partner in crime, my husband Jorge and our two chihuahua’s, visiting different coffee shops(coffee lover here), looking for our next vacation spot and where in the World Map we plan on retiring.
And when I am not doing the above, I work on personal and professional development as I am always looking to better myself. I attend several trainings monthly, read articles & books, listen to podcasts to keep up with my love for Sexuality Education. I am also proud to say that my work has garnered me multiple guest spots on podcasts where I share my knowledge with the world. It can also be seen in online magazines such as Sunday Morning View, where my article "Female Masturbation: 6 Tips For Getting It On With Yourself" was published.
